  Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of 1st January 2025.

• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation.
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institutions are generally not accepted, except those from KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University, and Dibrugarh University Distance Education recognized for employment purposes.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
  • Registration with an Employment Exchange is mandatory.
  • Candidates must comply with the government’s Small Family Norms policy (no more than two living children as of 01.01.2021).
