Educational Qualifications

• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical):
  Full-time 3-year Diploma (or lateral entry post 12th/ITI) in Mechanical/Automobile Engg.
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical):
  Full-time 3-year Diploma (or lateral entry) in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg.
• Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation):
  Full-time 3-year Diploma in ECE/ETC/Radio Communication/Instrumentation from Govt. recognized Institute
• Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR):
  Full-time Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
• Trade Apprentice (Accountant):
  Full-time B.Com from recognized University
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher & Skill Certificate Holder):
  Minimum 10+2 pass (below graduate); Skill Certificate required for ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’

Note: Graduation/diploma must be regular, full-time courses. Candidates awaiting results or possessing higher professional degrees (BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc.) are not eligible.

2. Apply for Apprentice Opening under Indian Oil Corporation Limited using the Establishment ID for the relevant region.
3. Complete application/registration on IOCL Pipelines Portal: https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/
   • Part 1: Basic registration, create password, note down registration number
   • Part 2: Login & upload photo/signature, enter educational details, final submit
4. Print the final application for reference.

Selection Process

• Selection on the basis of merit: percentage marks in qualifying exam for the relevant trade.
• No written test or interview.
• In case of tie, older candidate preferred; further tie-breaking by Matriculation marks.
