NHPC Non-Executive Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2025)

• Maximum: 30 years for all posts (Some relaxations as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen).

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer:
  Master’s Degree in Hindi (with English as elective at degree level) or Master’s in English (with Hindi as elective at degree level) with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C):
  Full-time regular 3-year diploma (60% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 50% for SC/ST/PwBD):
  • Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering only.
  • Electrical: Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical (Power)/Power Systems/Power Engg.
  • Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automation Engg.
  • E&C: Diploma in Electronics & Communication/Electronics/Power Electronics/Instrumentation & Control.
• Note: B.Tech/BE alone not eligible without above diplomas.
• Supervisor (IT):
  Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level OR 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT OR BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT) with minimum 60% marks.
• Sr. Accountant:
  Passed Inter CA or Inter CMA.
• Hindi Translator:
  Master’s in Hindi with English as elective at degree level OR Master’s in English with Hindi as elective at degree level.
  Plus, one year post-qualification experience in translation/teaching or diploma in translation.
