SBI PO Interview 2025 Pattern:

It comprises three key components:

  1. Psychometric Test: This is an online personality assessment test with 100-120 questions designed to evaluate the behavioral and psychological traits of candidates. It helps the interview panel understand candidates’ personality profiles. The test has no negative marking and no direct scoring but influences the interview assessment.
  2. Group Discussion (GD): This round is conducted in person, typically with 8 candidates per group. It lasts between 10 to 30 minutes and is designed to assess communication skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities. The GD carries a weightage of 20 marks.
  3. Personal Interview: Conducted in person at various exam centers, this interview assesses candidates on communication skills, confidence, attitude, general awareness, and suitability for the Probationary Officer role. The duration ranges from 20 to 45 minutes, and the interview carries 30 marks.

The final selection is based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Mains exam and the Interview round (GD + Personal Interview). Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in this stage to be selected as SBI Probationary Officers.
