Tocklai Tea Research Institute invites applications for two temporary research positions under a DBT-sponsored project titled “Anti-Diabetic properties of Phalap: Unraveling the ethnomedicinal claim by understanding their effect on enzymatic and gene regulation.”

Eligibility Criteria

Position 1: JRF / Project Associate-1 (Code: BT-2194)

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences
• Desirable: Research experience in relevant field
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Position 2: JRF / Project Associate-1 (Code: BC-2194)

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry
• Desirable: Research experience in relevant field
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Fellowship Details

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits and lab experiments (mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, chemical analysis)
• Operate instruments like HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
• Opportunity to register for higher degree (subject to eligibility)
